FIRST SKI DESCENT of GREAT TRANGO TOWER - The NOrth Face

I served as the on-slope ski cinematographer for the first ski descent of Pakistan’s Great Trango Tower, documenting Jim Morrison, Christina Lustenberger, and Chantel Astorga. My role was to capture the raw beauty and intensity of the expedition with Leo Hoorn and Savannah Cummins, documenting the challenges we faced as a team in one of the world’s most extreme environments.

I had the incredible experience of being part of an expedition that found Bradford Washburn's lost camera, abandoned during his 1937 summit attempt of Mount Lucania. led by griffin post, we embarked on a ten-day trek across 140+ miles of glacier in Canada. On the final day, down to our last hours, I spotted what looked like a metal box. It turned out to be Washburn’s cache, including his Fairchild F-8 aerial camera and old climbing gear. The discovery

The project, which delved into Krystle’s life and work, required capturing her bold and daring approach to photography, often in extreme environments. My role involved documenting her in action—whether scaling cliffs or shooting from remote locations—ensuring that the raw energy and challenges of her craft were authentically represented on screen.
